- Development: NursesHUB, a product in the healthcare area, where JamHUB is concluding the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and whose objective is supporting the planning and management of nursing teams;
- Introduction in Portugal: PolisHUB, a product to manage municipal processes and ensure citizens’ knowledge;
- International introduction: TransplantHUB.
TransplantHUB, a solution that provides healthcare institutions with an integrated environment to manage all events associated with the donation, procurement and transplantation of solid organs and tissues was in the spotlight. By aggregating all the donation and transplantation workflows in a single application, TransplantHUB provides medical teams with the information they need for decision making, while ensuring the coordination of all medical personnel and simplifying communication between medical teams and between them and your patients.
TransplantHUB also takes advantage of the most advanced technologies to support medical teams. The software uses AI (Artificial Intelligence), namely, NLP (Natural Language Processing) and ML (Machine Learning), to support the decision making and activities of the medical team.
Winners – 1st Edition H-INNOVA
We take this opportunity to congratulate the winners of the 1st Edition of H-INNOVA, with their innovative project AI4HEALTH.
After the presentation made by each of the teams, the jury, composed by specialists in the areas of health, innovation, digital transformation and entrepreneurship, including members of the Government of Madeira, PremiValor Consulting and partner entities, selected the winning project AI4HEALTH.
“AI4HEALTH is an artificial intelligence (AI) software capable of predicting whether an individual is about to have a heart attack – up to 5 minutes before – based on previous Electrocardiogram (ECG) data”.
The most promising projects presented, including of course AI4HEALTH, will have the possibility of being supported by health professionals and specialists in the economic-financial, engineering and legal areas to enhance the implementation of their ideas, ensuring the development of successful STARTUPS.
One of the most positive aspects of this encounter (also aiming making Madeira “more competitive”) was the revelation that the Regional
Government of Madeira, through the Secretariat of Economy, is “preparing a
venture capital fund to support startup
projects, in the health area, and other areas ”.
It is in fact a “happy marriage” between Healthcare and the Economy, as the regional secretary for economics referred to the partnership between the two departments, materialized in PremiValor Consulting event.
